Anderson is an extremly educational place the horrors of war are pointed out on many levels while it’s true that it was a horrific place during the Civil War, One must be reminded that there were just as horrific places in the north. Today it’s a well manicured and peacefulplace, Andersonville is also the home to the POW museum with stories and exhibits about virtually every war we’ve been involved in, and the sad situations the POWs were forced to live in as well as the tortures they were subjected to. There’s much to be learned in Andersonville Just a few miles further south down Hwy 49 is Souther field the airport that Charles Lindburg learned to fly at,and bought his first airplane. it’s a day well spent and a worthwhile visit..

i have visied the swamp historic and it nice and i really had a good time and liked it. it was fun for the kids.
