Jack Hadley Black History Museum - Thomasville, Georgia
Exploring Georgia tourism covers a huge variety of different opportunities to learn about what makes Georgia a special place to spend your Georgia vacation. One of the special places is the Jack Hadley Black History Museum.
The Museum was established to educate individuals about the history and culture of African Americans both locally and nationally. The African-American historian, James (Jack) Hadley collected over 2000 pieces of artifacts with emphasis on Thomasville's own black achievers. He also has collected artifacts commemorating the lives and accomplishments from other states and national achievers.
While Georgia is home to many interesting and famous attractions, many kids know the very best place to be. Cleveland, Georgia is the birthplace of the Cabbage Patch Doll and also the home of BabyLand General Hospital. BabyLand is an old doctor's office devoted to birthing, caring for and fixing up Cabbage Patch Dolls. It's a one-stop shop! Over a quarter of a million people make the trek to this attraction each year.
